Samuel Crayton, Jr. former President of TCC Enterprises, an online retail business and investment management company. His experience includes commercial banking and operation, as well as owner-operator of a new car dealership. Mr. Crayton has held positions on a number of civic, religious and community organization boards. In addition to serving as Chairman of EOF, he is also the COO/ED of the organization. Sam is also a registered Lobbyist in Health Care in the State of Mississippi. He is a graduate of Easom High School Class of 1966.
Edward Long, Jr., Esquire, is managing attorney for Lone Star Legal Aid in Texarkana, Texas, where he has been a staff attorney since 1983. He is a U.S. Army veteran who has worked in Mississippi legal aid and private practice law in Houston, Texas. Mr. Long enjoys reading, fishing, gardening and cooking. He resides in Texarkana, Texas and is a graduate of Easom High School Class of 1965.
Landolph is a retired Social worker, with 20 plus years of supervision for the Twenty Second Judicial Circuit Court-Juvenile Division in St. Louis, MO. She has held several leadership positions in voluntary and professional organizations including the National Association of Social Workers, the Alcorn Alumni Association, the NAACP and of course the Easom Foundation where she is the Chairman of the Fund Raising Committee. She received her undergraduate degree from Alcorn State University in Lorma, MS, and her graduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis. She is a graduate of the Easom High class of 1966.
Bobby worked as a Supervisor at a manufacturing company In Corinth, beginning there in 1964 and retiring 36 years later. In 1973 he opened and operated a restaurant and sold his interest 5 years later. He was founding member in starting the Black History Museum in Corinth. Many of the items housed in the Museum is either owned by Bobby or was sourced through his many contacts. Graduated from Easom High School in 1961.
Paulette taught Kindergarten at Happy Children Day Care for seven years then returned to Corinth in 1986 and taught in the Corinth City School District, retiring in 2013. She received a BS degree from Rust College in 1976. She works as an organizer and coordinator in a number of areas in the Community that includes family gatherings, reunions, and Church events. She also work with the Pine Vale Children’s Home every Christmas. She enjoys using her many skills in developing and implementing organizational ideas. She graduated from Corinth High School in 1972
Phebe is a retired School Teacher in the State of Illinois. She attended Easom High School and its predecessor Schools before moving to Chicago. Since retirement she has spent summers in Corinth and served as a tutor at Project Attention. She will be making Corinth her permanent resident in the next year.
Reuben E. Dilworth, Ed. D., is a school performance specialist with JBHM Education Group, providing consulting expertise to a company that provides processes for individual schools and entire districts to increase student achievement by improving instructional quality and raising professional accountability for student learning. His background includes more than 30 years in K-12 education and administration. He lives in Jackson and is a graduate of Easom High School Class of 1961.
Mona Lisa Grady is the executive director of C.A.R.E., Corinth’s community foundation, and special events coordinator for Refreshments, Inc. and Corinth Coca-Cola. Her experience includes retail marketing and administrative support roles in the real estate and banking industries. Ms. Grady volunteers regularly on various church, civic, community and school projects with the Parent Teacher Organizations at her children’s schools. She lives in Corinth and is a graduate of Corinth High School Class of 1985.
Ernestine is currently Resource Director, previously holding the position of tutor, at Project Attention Center. She taught History in the Corinth School District and was a Library Assistant at Northeast Regional Library before retiring from both positions in 2013. Her civic involvement includes membership in the National Association of Colored Women Clubs, Corinth City Federation and the Alcorn County African American Historical Society. In the community she serves as a Sunday School Teacher and a board member of the Alcorn County Literacy Council. She is a graduate of the Easom high School Class of 1966
He served as the State Senator from 2008 through January 2012 in the 4th District that includes Alcorn, Tippah and Tishomingo Counties. Eric works at Packing Corporation of America, a quality & pollution control agency in Corinth as a safety and security specialist. He formerly taught School at South Corinth, and coached High School Football in the Corinth School District. He attended the University of Mississippi, Northeast Mississippi Junior College and received his BA from Wingate University.
Tommy Morrison is a certified teacher in health, physical education, coaching and speech. He is retired after more than 30 years with Union Pacific Railroad. A graduate of the University of Arkansas-Monticello, he was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame in 2005. He is a resident of Mabelvale, Ark. and a graduate of the Easom High School Class of 1967.
Evelyn Jumper Webb, Ph.D., is Vice President of Generation Ready Consulting (GR) of New York. She is housed in one of its five locations, the South office in Jackson, MS. GR provides processes, tools and support to teachers and principals in individual schools and/or entire districts to increase student achievement by improving leadership and instruction and by raising professional accountability for student learning. She has more than 40 years of experience in educational leadership, college and university supervision and instruction, and educational consultancy. She is a resident of Corinth and a 1962 graduate of Easom High School.
Donna taught Elementary School in the McNairy County School District until her retirement in 2013. Donna also runs a successful day care program and a day camp as part of the Summer Feeding program administered by the Foundation. Donna graduated from the McNairy system, and resides in Corinth.
